Manchester United want Denzel Dumfries

Denzel Dumfries has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the summer according to reports from Italian outlet Tuttosport.
The Dutch right-back only joined Inter last summer after a series of impressive displays at Euro 2020 for the Netherlands, and could be on the move again this year, moving to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have had problems in that position, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s form rapidly dropping off and Diogo Dalot not convincing those at the club, leaving the Red Devils to look for options elsewhere.

Ten Hag reportedly requested for Ajax’s Noussair Mazraoui, with the Moroccan’s contract set to run out at the end of the season, but United were unsuccessful in their approach with the player likely to join German champions Bayern Munich.
That made United look at other options, and Dumfries has emerged as the top target, but the Old Trafford club will have to chunk out over €35 million for the player – more than double of what Inter paid for him last summer.
Dumfries has been in impressive for the reigning Italian champions as they look to retain their Serie A title, being a crucial part of their campaign.

The move could be funded by a transfer for Wan-Bissaka – reports in England recently have suggested that Crystal Palace would be interested in bringing the player back to Selhurst Park.
Prior to Inter, Dumfries played for PSV, Heerenveen and Sparta Rotterdam and has also been a member of the Dutch national team set-up since 2018, earning 32 caps in that period and scoring three goals, with two of them coming at Euro 2020 last year.
