With the transfer window well underway despite not officially opening until 1 July, several teams are close to adding to their existing personel.

Christian Eriksen holds Newcastle talks

FootballTransfers exclusively reported that Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen has held talks with Newcastle United over a possible summer move.

The Danish international will become a free agent after signing a short-term deal when arriving at the Bees.

Newcastle in talks with Luka Sucic

As well as Eriksen, Newcastle have also engaged in talks with RB Salzburg youngster Luka Sucic, who has been labelled the 'next Luka Modric'.

Anthony Martial rejected by Benfica

Manchester United are attempting to offload French forward Anthony Martial this summer, but have found suitors difficult to come by.

Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is very close to signing for Real Madrid, with the Frenchman reportedly undergoing his medical at the club, with a move expected to be completed in the next 24 hours.

Paul Pogba looks set to join Juventus this summer, and both Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have turned attentions away from the Frenchman despite rumours.
