CHELSEA WAGES: How much does each player earn?
Raphinha has been one of the hottest properties in the summer transfer market, with Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham all in the race to sign him.
We also reported back then that Raphinha had two release clauses in his contract.
The first was a minimum fee release clause of €75m, but that clause was removed with a gentleman's agreement in March.
The second clause was a €25m clause which activated if Leeds were relegated to the Championship.
Leeds narrowly avoided dropping down a division but it was always clear that Raphinha was going to leave the club anyway this summer.
His preferred club this summer was initially Barcelona, but the Blaugrana are not in a financial position right now to make a concrete bid. Arsenal, meanwhile, are short of what Chelsea have offered.
Raphinha joined Leeds from Rennes for €20m in the summer of 2020 and soon developed into one of the best widemen in the Premier League.
He scored an impressive 17 goals and delivered 12 assists in 67 games for the club.
He has also played nine times for the Brazil national team, scoring three goals.
