What is Barcelona, Arsenal & Spurs-target Raphinha’s asking price?
Leeds United have set an asking price of €75 million for much-wanted winger Raphinha.
The Brazilian star is one of the hottest names on the transfer market right now, with Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham all battling it out to sign him.
His first minimum fee release clause is €75m, which is applicable at all times.
His second clause is only applicable if Leeds are relegated to the Championship, in which case his release clause fee will drop to €25m.
According to multiple sources, having narrowly avoided relegation this past season, Leeds are insistent that they will only sell Raphinha if interested parties meet the €75m clause.
It remains to be seen if they maintain that stance as, according to SportItalia, Tottenham are ready to table a bid this week which is understood to not be far from that amount.
As reported yesterday: #Tottenham ready to submit an offer for #Raphinha (50M+ 10) #THFC. Big race for the winger, his priority is still #Barca. Yesterday his agent was in Barcelona with Laporta. #AFC in the game. #CFC were leading the race before the sanctions. Now still on. https://t.co/EyiD2qCaeU

The Athletic also reported that Arsenal made an offer of their own of a much lower amount which was rejected out of hand by Leeds.
FootballTransfers understands that Barcelona is Raphinha’s favoured destination and he has had an agreement on personal terms for a number of months now.
However, Barcelona’s well-documented financial problems has prevented them from sealing a deal with Leeds.
Barca are expected to receive a big cash injection imminently but as of now they are still unable to spend money in the transfer market and close deals.
Even the free transfer arrivals of Andreas Christensen from Chelsea and Franck Kessie from AC Milan have not been officially confirmed and registered for this reason.
With every day that passes, Tottenham and Arsenal’s hopes of signing Raphinha increase.
