Revealed: The three clubs that want Timo Werner

Timo Werner could be on his way out of Chelsea this summer although any move away could be blocked by Thomas Tuchel as he looks to retain depth to his strike force.
Werner has encountered a difficult time since his arrival in England from Leipzig in 2020, scoring just ten Premier League goals in 56 appearances, and is considering leaving in search of regular first team football.
The forward is also understood to have a strained relationship with Tuchel due to the Chelsea boss’ public criticism of Werner, although he has been challenged to stay and fight for his place by his manager.
When asked about the idea of Werner moving away, Tuchel said: "I don't know about it, Timo has not talked to me about it. In the moment, I think he wants to make his way at Chelsea. He has still to prove a point."

Chelsea are open to selling Werner and Juventus are believed to be the front runners for Werner’s signature, although they would prefer a loan move and have prioritised Alvaro Morata as a signing.
Real Madrid are also considering a loan move for Werner, with some reports saying they will decide whether to pursue a deal based on the result of their upcoming European Super Cup fixture.
Newcastle have also reportedly enquired about a loan for Werner but the 26-year-old’s wages are in excess of £250,000, making a deal unlikely for the Magpies unless Chelsea cover most of his salary.
Dortmund have previously enquired about Werner while former club Leipzig have also been linked with a move but neither side are believed to be serious options due to the finances of the deal.

Werner has previously spoken over his desire to play more frequently in order to be fit and ready for Germany ahead of the World Cup in November.
"I could be happy everywhere," Werner said. "It is clear I want to play more, and I should play more to first be in good shape for the World Cup and also to have a chance to play at the World Cup.
