How Lampard can rely on Chelsea to save Everton's Premier League status

Frank Lampard is interested in bringing three of Chelsea's players to Everton as he looks to avoid another relegation battle in the 2022-23 season.
Michy Batshuayi, Billy Gilmour and Ross Barkley are all wanted at Goodison Park by the former Blues boss, according to 90min.
And Lampard, who is now in his third managerial job, has used his Chelsea connections for the betterment of his first-team squad already in his short career.

At Derby County, then in the Championship, Lampard loaned both Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori from the west London club.
Indeed, Tomori won the player of the season award as the Rams went on to reach the Play-Off Final at Wembley - losing 2-1 to a Jack Grealish-led Aston Villa side.
Lampard is now hoping that Batshuayi, Gilmour and Barkley can add quality to a Toffees squad that is in desperate need of a makeover.
The ex-England international kept Everton in the Premier League last season, after they looked destined for relegation, but the Merseyside club could be in serious trouble again without more signings.
Batshuayi, Gilmour & Barkley to Everton?

Michy Batshuayi is not good enough for Chelsea; he never has been. But that doesn't mean he couldn't play in the Premier League.
In fact, in between Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Conor Gallagher's successful loans at Crystal Palace, Batshuayi had his own in the 2018-19 campaign.
The Belgian scored five times in nine league starts, proving that he is capable of doing well in the English top-flight.
As a backup to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Everton could do a lot worse than to sign a 28-year-old with something to prove.
Billy Gilmour
Billy Gilmour burst onto the season in the 2019-20 season, Lampard's first in charge of Chelsea, earning multiple man of the match awards.
"It was one of the best performances I've seen in a long, long time," Manchester United legend praised Gilmour after an FA Cup game against Liverpool.
Chelsea have taken 28 players out to Italy for their friendlies against Udinese (one tonight, one tomorrow).
No Werner, who is "with the medical department", Barkley or Batshuayi.

Yet, the Scotland international failed to take a step forward in the following season, and spent the last campaign on loan at Norwich - where he underwhelmed.
Though, at 21 years of age, there is still plenty of time for Gilmour to get his career back on track. Another season under Lampard's tutelage could do just that.
Ross Barkley
Once a fan favourite at Goodison Park, Ross Barkley disappointed Evertonians by leaving for Chelsea in 2017.
Five years later, Barkley has only amassed 29 Premier League starts for the Blues, and it's about time he moved on.
A return to Everton may not go down well with the Toffees faithful, but a return to his best form would surely win them over.
A talented midfielder, if Lampard can get Barkley back to his old self, as is his task with Dele Alli, then a mid-table finish could follow.
