Man Utd to announce FOUR new signings after Malacia
Manchester United are set to announce the arrival of Tyrell Malacia from PSV in a deal that is set to open the floodgates for the Old Trafford side with regards new signings.
It has been a frustrating start to the summer transfer window for Man Utd, who are seeking to overhaul their squad under new manager Erik ten Hag. The Red Devils are one of just three Premier League sides yet to complete a transfer, keeping company along with Chelsea and Leicester.
Things, though, are set to pick up for the former Ajax manager just in time for the club’s pre-season tour, which begins with a friendly against Liverpool in Bangkok on 12 July.

With the arrival of Malacia, Man Utd are set to complete as many as five deals in the coming weeks, with the Manchester Evening News suggesting that these could all be done by the end of their tour, which will also take in matches against Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace in Australia.
Malacia has completed his second medical check with the Red Devils, according to Fabrizio Romano, and is set to become their first summer signing.
What is perhaps most exciting for Man Utd, though, is that a string of players are set to follow.
Four to follow Malacia
According to The Athletic, they have reached a verbal agreement for Denmark international midfielder Christian Eriksen, who should join up with the squad imminently. He will sign a three-year deal and could well be officially a Man Utd player by the end of the week.
Furthermore, they are also closing in on the arrival of Lisandro Martinez from Ajax. Having claimed that he “doesn’t want to be like” Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk, he should prove a favourite at Old Trafford.
Similarly, Antony could arrive from Ajax, having been close to a move for several weeks.
The fifth deal is presumably Frenkie de Jong, which is a transfer that appears to be edging towards a conclusion. Manchester United fans are likely to have to be more patient with regards the Barcelona midfield, though.
