‘I’m leaving now’ - What Ronaldo will tell Man Utd bosses today

Cristiano Ronaldo will tell Manchester United today that he plans to leave immediately and has no intention of remaining at the club, according to The Sun.
Ronaldo flew into Manchester on Monday for showdown talks with the club’s bosses.
The 37-year-old missed the club’s pre-season tour to the Far East and Australia, citing family reasons for his absence.
He has now returned to Manchester for talks over his future, and The Athletic report that it is unclear whether he will even train with the club.
The Sun goes further and claims that Ronaldo will tell Man Utd that he has no intention of staying at the club next season and wants to find a new club immediately.
He also will not accept a new deal following reports that Ronaldo would be allowed to leave on loan – to Atletico Madrid – if he signs a one-year extension to his deal which will expire in 2023.

Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United is very much in doubt after it was reported a few weeks ago that he wished to find a new club for next season.
Cristiano is worried about Man Utd’s ability to challenge for trophies next season and is unhappy about the prospect of not playing in the Champions League.
Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has been offering his services to multiple clubs over the past weeks.
So far, it has been reported that the following clubs have been approached; Chelsea, Bayern Munich, PSG, Roma, Napoli and Sporting Lisbon.
FootballTransfers understands that Ronaldo remains likely to remain at Man Utd, with major hurdles having to be crossed for any team to sign him. Atletico Madrid have been increasingly mentioned in recent days, but the prospects of a deal being concluded have been reduced by their fans protesting again a potential transfer, which would be difficult to achieve anyway for financial reasons.
Nevertheless, transfer market expert Ben Jacobs explained that the unlikely deal remains possible.
Cristiano returned to Man Utd last summer after 12 years away in a much-publicised transfer from Juventus.
