Manchester City summer signing Erling Haaland enters the Premier League for the first time for the 2022-23 season, and he immediately becomes the most expensive forward in Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
The Norway international has joined Man City after scoring 85 goals in two-and-a-half years at Borussia Dortmund, and has been priced at £11.5 million for the latest iteration of FPL.

Haaland is tied for the prize of most expensive FPL forward with Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane. The Englishman scored the most points of any forward in the game last season, which has seen him maintain his status as one of the most expensive players in the entirety of FPL.
Kane managed the most assists of forwards in FPL last year, with 11, the second-most goals scored, with 17, and the third-most bonus points, with 23.

Cristiano Ronaldo is third on the list after finishing third in the Premier League Golden Boot race last campaign. The Portuguese superstar is priced at £10.5m, which is one £1m less than Haaland and Kane, and £1m more than Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy, who is the fourth most expensive forward in the 2022-23 version of FPL.
Vardy is followed by Liverpool duo Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez, who are both valued at £9m and may well be competing with each other for a spot in the starting XI at Anfield.
Tottenham’s club-record signing Richarlison is priced at £8.5m, although he may not be a guaranteed starter under Antonio Conte. He is £0.5m more expensive than Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Roberto Firmino, former Everton team-mate Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Arsenal new boy Gabriel Jesus.
Havertz has been moved from a midfielder to a forward for the 2022-23 FPL season after featuring heavily as the central striker in Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea system.
As for Jesus, he is expected to become Arsenal’s main man this season, although he may face competition from Eddie Nketiah, who has signed a new deal at the Emirates.
