Sesko to Man Utd: Salzburg demand €300m plus Bruno!

Manchester United are reportedly interested in Red Bull Salzburg’s young forward Benjamin Sesko, but the Austrian club won’t make it easy to buy the player.
It was reported earlier in the week that the Red Devils were monitoring the Slovenian’s situation and that they were informed of his availability.
Sesko is only 19, and has had a fine start with the Austrian champions, scoring 12 goals in 38 games for the country’s premier side.
The club has an excellent reputation of developing young forwards, and Sesko could be the next in line to become the game’s next big thing, which would certainly catch the eye of Europe’s best clubs.

Salzburg set price for Sesko
Salzburg, though, were adamant on keeping their player, and they quoted a report of United’s interest on their Twitter feed, telling the internet their selling price.
“We want 300 million + Bruno [Fernandes]” the Red Bull Salzburg English account said on Twitter, implying that Sesko would not be cheap for Manchester United, or any club interested in the player.
In recent times, Salzburg have developed some of Europe’s most potent forwards, including Erling Haaland, Patson Daka and Karim Adeyemi.

All have had big moves, with Haaland going to Borussia Dortmund and then Manchester City, Daka going to Leicester City and Adeyemi recently earning a move to Dortmund as well to play in his homeland.
Sesko has also earned comparisons to Haaland for his quick start and impressive form, and will have the chance to show his best abilities in the Champions League this season.
Sesko even said the comparisons don’t pressure him, and that he’s driving to become better as a footballer in the coming years: “Such comparisons motivate me and give me energy. They do not represent pressure. I will listen and learn so I can be even better than he is.”
He continued: “My team-mates at the club tell me that Haaland and I are very similar, especially in terms of speed. Most of them even tell me that I’m better than him!”
Other than Manchester United, there has also been interest in the player from Newcastle United, and it may not be long before Sesko earns a transfer away from Austria.
