The five Brighton stars Potter could bring with him to Chelsea

Chelsea have appointed Graham Potter as the successor to Thomas Tuchel as they look to take advantage of the Brighton boss' growing reputation in English football.
Potter signed a five-year deal as Chelsea's head coach after Tuchel was sacked following an uneasy start to the season.
Potter’s arrival would signify another deal between Chelsea and Brighton after Marc Cucurella moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer for £62 million, with Levi Colwill heading the other way on loan and Billy Gilmour signing for the Seagulls on deadline day for £9m.
With both teams seemingly embracing a strong relationship with each other, FootballTransfers takes a look at which players could join Potter in West London.

Brighton are believed to have an option to extend his contract for a further year but Trossard’s versatility and experience makes him an ideal player for any side.
Alexis Mac Allister
Alexis Mac Allister has blossomed in recent weeks, having scored four times in Brighton’s opening six games, including a masterful performance in a 5-2 win against Leicester where he saw a wondergoal ruled out for his hat-trick.
The 23-year-old is another player whom Brighton have an option to extend his contract until 2024 and he could be a target for Chelsea’s midfield.
Mac Allister, an £11m arrival from Boca in 2020, had a slow start to his career in England but has been capped five times by Argentina and could feature for them at the upcoming World Cup.
Robert Sanchez
Brighton have conceded just five goals so far this season and a lot of that is to the credit of goalkeeper Robert Sanchez.
The academy graduate has established himself as the club’s number one in recent seasons and made his debut for Spain’s national team last year.
With Edouard Mendy having suffered a decline in form in recent months, Sanchez could represent a long-term solution to Chelsea’s goalkeeping issues.
Tariq Lamptey
Tariq Lamptey came through the academy at Chelsea but left in 2020 in search of first-team football, joining Brighton for just £3m.
The 21-year-old provided an explosive option for the Seagulls at right-back before suffering a significant injury that stunted his rapid progress.
Chelsea could eye up Lamptey as a backup to Reece James but they would have to splash the cash for him as they were unable to secure a buy-back clause during the sale.
