Gallagher, Broja & the Chelsea youngsters Tuchel has left Graham Potter with
Chelsea have appointed Graham Potter as Thomas Tuchel's successor, the English head coach arriving from Brighton on a five-year deal.
The Blues acted quickly after sacking Tuchel, approaching Brighton and agreeing a compensation package in the region of £21 million for Potter and his staff.
Speaking on the club's website after being appointed, Potter said: ''I am incredibly proud and excited to represent Chelsea FC, this fantastic football club.
"I am very excited to partner with Chelsea’s new ownership group and look forward to meeting and working with the exciting group of players and to develop a team and culture that our amazing fans can be proud of.''
Meanwhile owner Todd Boehly said: "We are thrilled to bring Graham to Chelsea. He is a proven coach and an innovator in the Premier League who fits our vision for the Club.
"Not only is he extremely talented on the pitch, he has skills and capabilities that extend beyond the pitch which will make Chelsea a more successful Club.
The Chelsea youngsters Tuchel has left Graham Potter with
Graham Potter has proven to be a master at developing players, with the likes of Yves Bissouma, Marc Cucurella and Ben White benefiting from his work in recent seasons.
This is not a quality that the outgoing Thomas Tuchel possesses to the same degree, often choosing to let go of young players to develop elsewhere.
Just this summer, Tuchel chose to let Billy Gilmour, Levi Colwill, Ethan Ampadu and Callum Hudson-Odoi depart the west London club.
However, there remains a few promising players in Chelsea's first-team squad for Potter to work with.

First of all, Conor Gallagher is a player that needs improvement, despite an impressive previous campaign on loan at Crystal Palace.
Gallagher has looked uncomfortable in a Blues shirt this season; Potter needs to find a more suitable role for the 22-year-old.
Second, Armando Broja has shown promising signs, both at Southampton and at Chelsea, but is a long way off becoming a regular starter. The arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could also help with Broja's development.
Arguably the pick of the bunch is former Leicester City central defender Wesley Fofana.
Having signed this summer for £70 million, Fofana is already a Premier League proven player, but has the potential to become one of the world's best.
Lastly, Chelsea signed 18-year-old Carney Chukwuemeka from Aston Villa in the transfer window.
Chukwuemeka had made 16 appearances for Villa, but is certainly a long-term project at Stamford Bridge.
