Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's reunion with Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea lasted just 59 MINUTES, with the boss sacked on Wednesday morning.

Tuchel had expressed his desire to team up with the forward again as the two build a good rapport during their time together in Dortmund, where Auba was particularly prolific.

And despite the forward carrying a facial injury following the recent horrific home invasion he suffered in Barcelona, he was pushed in from the start away at Dinamo Zagreb.

But that would prove to be Tuchel's last match in charge, and a noticeably off-the-pace Auba played just 59 minutes before being replaced.

That would be the only action the two would see together in their Stamford Bridge reunion.

Even last night, Auba had said post match that he was 'really happy to be playing for him [Tuchel] again', and yet as he wakes up this morning his future will be as uncertain as it was last week.

Aubameyang performed well for Barcelona, scoring 13 goals in 23 games after joining in January from Arsenal, but wanted a return to the Premier League.

And now, with Tuchel gone, Auba's hopes of rebuilding an extended relationship with the German are over.
