How much will Mykhalo Mudryk cost Arsenal and Liverpool?
Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhalo Mudryk will cost Arsenal or Liverpool €45-50m, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 21-year-old is considered as one of the most exciting young wingers in Europe having burst onto the scene this year.
Arsenal were heavily linked with signing the 21-year-old in the closing days of the summer window but in the end the transfer didn’t materialise.
The young wide-man - who has been nicknamed "the Ukrainian Neymar" by fans – hit the headlines in August when he liked a post on Instagram claiming that Arsenal are interested in signing him.
Mudryk has also received interest from Liverpool but Romano says that it will cost his next club a big amount of money to buy him.
What did Romano say about Mudryk?
“Despite growing speculation, I have no updates on Mudryk now – I think he will be linked with 15 clubs in the next three months, and it’s normal as he’s a top talent, but nothing will be decided now,” Romano said.
“Shakhtar will take their time and I’m sure they want more than €45-50m for Mudryk … but we’ve to see how his performances in the Champions League will be in the next weeks.”
Shakhtar sporting director Darijo Srna recently said that Mudryk is the third best player in his role in Europe.
"Mudryk is a serious talent. After Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, he's the best player in Europe in his position. If someone wants to buy Mudryk they must spend a lot, a lot, a lot of money and respect our club and our president,” Srna said.
Mudryk has been in fine form for Shakhtar in the Champions League this season, scoring twice in the first two matchdays.
