Tielemans has been of interest to several top Premier League and European clubs in recent times, having impressed for the Foxes since joining them.

Now, he’s in the final months of his deal at the King Power Stadium and a move for him next summer could be on the cards.

Arsenal have long maintained an interest in the player and it seems as though they have beaten competition from others across Europe to sign the midfielder.

Tielemans close to Arsenal

Tielemans had been linked with a move to Arsenal over the summer transfer window this year, but the Gunners never made a move, choosing to focus on other areas of the pitch having spent big.

It was also reported that Manchester United may make a push for him as early as this January as Erik ten Hag plans a strong winter window to improve his squad, ahead of the business end of the season.

Recently, there was interest from Juventus for the same reason, but the Bianconeri have reportedly pulled out of the race to sign the player, leaving the Gunners free to make a move.

Juventus were hoping to add to their good portfolio of free transfers they have made over the years, but this one now seems to be out of their reach.

Tielemans hasn’t discussed new terms with Leicester and is seemingly looking to start a new chapter in his career, having done well for the Foxes over the last few years.

He helped the club challenge for qualification to the Champions League, and even contributed to the club’s FA Cup win back in 2020, as he scored against Chelsea in the final of the competition.

Now, it seems as though he will agree a deal that will see him move to Arsenal in the summer of next year on a free transfer.
