Chelsea join Milan in race to sign Villarreal star
Chelsea are looking to add to their attacking line and are set to rival Serie A champions Milan for the signature of Villarreal star Arnaut Danjuma.
The Blues have had a need to bolster their attacking line in recent times, having let go of Romelu Lukaku to Inter on loan and Timo Werner to RB Leipzig in a permanent move.
They did sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the final day of the transfer window and he has done well, while Armando Broja is proving to be a worthwhile second choice for Graham Potter.

The objective is to sign a new forward, though, and they have looked at a host of names, with former Bournemouth man Danjuma now one of the top targets, according to Calciomercato.
Danjuma move a possibility
Milan have long maintained an interest in the player and could well have made a move for him in the summer had it not been for his injury issues.
The Serie A champions have the likes of Olivier Giroud and Divock Origi on their team, but want to add a more youthful option to their team, with Danjuma seriously considered.

The 25-year-old joined Villarreal from Bournemouth in 2021 and had a huge role in them reaching the Champions League semi-finals last year, where the Yellow Submarine lost to Liverpool.
Danjuma’s first season in Spain saw him score 16 goals across all competitions, and he even had an important role in the Netherlands’ squad before his injury.

Danjuma is reportedly valued at around £31 million for the club and would be tempted by a Premier League return, where he is eager to prove a point after struggling to impress when he was there with Bournemouth.
Other than Chelsea, other Premier League clubs such as West Ham United and Newcastle United are also linked with a move for Danjuma in the near future.
