Football Manager 2023 transfer budgets: Man Utd, Madrid, PSG & Europe's big clubs

The Football Manager 2023 winter update has now been released, with over three million database changes.

These include new features, gameplay improvements and updates to squads after the January transfer window.

In line with updated squads, each club's transfer budgets have now changed as a result of their business in the window.

So, here at FootballTransfers, we have compiled a list of the starting transfer and wage budgets of every Premier League team, as well as Europe's top teams.

Football Manager 2023 Premier League transfer budgets

Manchester City's transfer budget of £98 million is the highest in the Premier League, having lowered their spending in recent years.

Meanwhile Chelsea have a budget of just £20m on the back of a record-breaking January window under new ownership.

The most surprising figure is the £72m available to Brighton managers on FM23, though it makes sense after the sales of Marc Cucurella and Yves Bissouma.

As for wage budgets, Man Utd's comes in at the highest, with the club having £5.46m per week to spend on player salaries.

Real Madrid missed out on Kylian Mbappe in the summer transfer window, and he will be nearly impossible to sign now, but Los Blancos have the funds to go after almost every other star on the game.

Likewise, PSG have the necessary budget to add to an already star-studded squad in the transfer market.

The financial predicament that Barcelona find themselves in is represented well on the new game.
