Hirving Lozano’s €25m Man Utd offer: The details
Manchester United were given the chance to sign Hirving Lozano in the summer transfer window, but talks never went far for the Mexican forward.
The Red Devils are quite short-staffed in attack with Marcus Rashford leading the line, while Anthony Martial is suffering with fitness issues and Cristiano Ronaldo is still keen to leave the club.
United haven’t got many senior options and adding to their attacking line is one of their top priorities for the transfer window in the coming months.
As a result, they are looking for options to sign players and need to make a move quickly – probably as soon as the January transfer window – to avoid derailing their season.
Lozano was offered to Man Utd
It’s emerged that Lozano had the opportunity to move to Manchester United and that a transfer was a real possibility last summer as the club were seeking options.
Lozano has been on the verge of an exit from Napoli for some time but a move has never really materialized and Manchester United never went past initial talks, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
“I’m told Hirving Lozano was offered to Manchester United, nothing else. They never made any bid to Napoli. The situation is really quiet, he’s happy at Napoli now; I think his price tag could be around €20-25m.”

Last week it was reported that Lozano would leave Napoli by the summer transfer window as the Italian club are keen to offload one of their highest earners and work with a different set of players.
His former agent claimed Lozano would be open to a move to England and there is interest in him from the likes of Manchester United and fellow Premier League side Everton.
United are still keen on adding to their forward line as their current options aren’t enough and they will see Lozano as an opportunity for a signing in the near future.
