Man Utd ready to sell transfer flop Van de Beek at a bargain price
Donny van de Beek's Manchester United nightmare could be over in the next transfer window with the Red Devils ready to cut their losses on the Dutchman.
Van de Beek joined United from Ajax in a €46 million deal in the summer of 2020 having won the Dutch domestic double the year before, but it hasn't worked out for him at Old Trafford.
Not trusted by Ole Gunner Solskjaer or Ralf Rangnick, Van de Beek might have thought he would enjoy a second wind following last season's abject loan spell at Everton when his former Ajax mentor Erik ten Hag was installed as coach, but that hasn't happened.

Scott McTominay, Fred and Casemiro have shared the pivot positions in United's midfield, Bruno Fernandes is first-choice at No.10, while Christian Eriksen has been used in both roles while Van de Beek has been restricted to just 19 minutes from the bench.
"You never know, come January, there's potential that United might think they should cut their losses and see if there's a club who would be willing to pay money for Donny van de Beek," said Sky Sports' Dharmesh Sheth.
"It was interesting to note that in the January transfer window - when van de Beek went to Everton - I think United's preference would probably have been for him to have gone to a European club, where the play and the build-up play is slightly slower and more suited to van de Beek's style of play."
European interest
Former club Ajax retain an interest in Van de Beek, as do PSV Eindhoven, while Inter Milan are reportedly keeping tabs on the 25-year-old who has remained in and around the Netherlands squad throughout his Man Utd travails.
Van de Beek is now rated at €24m by Football Transfers' in-house algorithm - a potential fee which could quickly represent value if the midfielder recovers his old Ajax form in another setting.
