The Ronaldo hat-trick record Haaland has already equalled
Erling Haaland has already equalled the number of hattricks that Cristiano Ronaldo has scored in the Premier League.
Haaland has only played eight Premier League matches, following his €60 million summer move from Borussia Dortmund to Man City.
However, the Norwegian star has already scored three hat-tricks.
This is the same number of hat-tricks that Ronaldo has managed in his entire career in the Premier League, which spans two separate spells for Man Utd.

Haaland records continue to tumble
This serves to illustrate just what an incredible start to life in the Premier League Haaland had had.
In Sunday’s 6-3 thrashing of Manchester United in the derby at the Etihad, Haaland scored another hat-trick.
He thus became the first player in Premier League history to score three successive hat-tricks in home matches.
He also became the quickest player to score three Premier League hat-tricks. Taking just eight games, the next fastest after Haaland was Michael Owen, who needed 48 matches to hit three trebles. Ruud van Nistelrooy is third fastest, needing 59 while Fernando Torres needed 64.
Haaland now has a stunning 17 goals in just 11 games in all competitions for Man City and is well on track to break numerous more records.
The attacker already has more goals at this time of the season than any other new signing in the history of the Premier League.
Man City beat off competition from Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign Haaland this summer.
