Revealed: the three star players Man Utd want to sign next summer
Manchester United had a busy summer transfer window as they looked to strengthen their squad in Erik ten Hag’s first transfer window at the club.
The Red Devils ended up signing six players, including the likes of Antony, Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen, but they want to add to that in the future.
Ten Hag still feels his squad is depleted and perhaps not capable of challenging for top honours, which is why he wants to add to it in the coming transfer windows.
Now, it’s emerged that Ten Hag has identified three players he wants to sign next summer as his club plan another big outlay to get their squad in shape.
Man Utd targeting big summer window
According to various reports in England, the Red Devils have identified three players, as he looks to improve in midfield and in attack.
The first name is Milan’s Rafael Leao, who has been impressive for the Italian club in recent times, spurring them on to a first Serie A title win in 11 years last season as he had an instrumental role towards the end of the campaign.
Interest in him is high as Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on his progress, while Milan themselves are looking to extend his contract to keep him at the club for the long run.

Lautaro Martinez is another player they are looking at as they want to improve their attacking department, given they are short on forwards.
Marcus Rashford is their first-choice forward, while Anthony Martial struggles for fitness and the future of Cristiano Ronaldo remains unclear, making Manchester United look in the market for a new player.
Finally, they still want Frenkie de Jong, the player they spent 17 weeks chasing in the summer, before being unsuccessful as he ended up staying at Barcelona.
Things may be different now as the Dutchman is concerned about his game time at the Camp Nou and Ten Hag’s side may be looking to take advantage of that in the hope of signing him in the summer next year.
