Arsenal have had a great start to the Premier League, sitting on the top of the league, and their most recent result was a 3-1 win over Tottenham in the North London derby.

Several players have impressed over the course of the season, and they are looking to continue this level in order to get back into the Champions League, something they haven’t done since 2017.

The Gunners have improved drastically this season and are looking to amends the wrongs of last season, and want to make up for the poor end to last season.

Club legend Thierry Henry has also been full of praise for the team, and he has picked out the players that have caught his eye the most in this campaign.

Henry impressed with new signings

"I’m not surprised with the result because whenever they come to us, I don’t know what happens with them, but they don’t usually perform – one win in 29 visits, so it usually happens,” Henry told CBS Sports.

"But what I like with the Arsenal team right now is that it’s a different team. If you talk about something that’s important, it’s a different team.

Gabriel Jesus is really changing, not only him. Saliba at the back allows them to play in a back four, so Mikel goes into what Pep does also with City with Zinchenko.

"Xhaka is playing way better. That’s what I was more impressed with than the result because that's what happens all the time."

His picks have been reflected by the player’s performances: Jesus has been a game-changer in attack having signed from Manchester City, while Saliba has returned from loan and been at the heart of their defence.

Xhaka has also improved this season, and was named Man of the Match in their win over Tottenham at the weekend, his first such honour since joining Arsenal.
