Cristiano Ronaldo has received his first formal contract offer since his Manchester United departure, with the deal being worth a staggering $225 million across three years.
The Portuguese superstar had his United contract terminated this week after his recent explosive interview and he is now the only player featuring at the 2022 World Cup currently without a club.
With interested teams freely able to approach Ronaldo, CBS Sports have revealed that Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr are ready to offer the 37-year-old a three-year contract after the World Cup.

Ronaldo is still keen to remain in Europe and play in the Champions League but the nine-time Saudi Professional League winners are hoping the striker’s experience in Qatar will help convince him to play in the Middle East.
The club have claimed their interest in Ronaldo is ‘stronger than ever’, with talks believed to be advanced after the player was first approached in the summer with an offer worth a reported €350m.
The contract Is understood to be worth $75m a year and hinges on Ronaldo’s response to a deal that would see him play into his 40s.

Ronaldo is currently with Portugal in Qatar, having netted in their World Cup opener to become the first player ever to score in five tournaments.
The record came just a day after United had terminated his contract, with Ronaldo believing to have agreed to leave without being paid the remaining six months of his deal, understood to be worth around £15m.
Ronaldo had an interview recently where he criticised the team’s direction as well as admitting he had no respect for manager Erik ten Hag, prompting United to sever ties with a club legend.
The decision was taken following a string of disciplinary issues surrounding Ronaldo after he had failed to engineer an exit from the club in the summer due to a lack of interest from Europe’s elite sides.
Ronaldo has given no indication over his next destination, while United have reportedly considered January moves for Jonathan David of Lille and PSV’s Cody Gakpo as a replacement.
