Mourinho wants Zaha but Real Madrid could affect transfer plans
Real Madrid are lining up a move for Jose Mourinho next season and that could affect a transfer for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha as he runs out of contract with the London club.
Mourinho has been an admirer of Zaha for the last few years and is keen to bring him over the Olimpico, but those plans could be altered.
Zaha has been the subject of interest for several clubs and despite being linked with a move away for quite some time, he has remained at Crystal Palace.

Now, according to reports in Italy, Mourinho’s continuation at Roma may be in doubt and there’s a possibility Real Madrid may be lurking.
Real Madrid could scupper Zaha move
The Spanish and European champions are doing well under Carlo Ancelotti but it’s still uncertain whether he will continue in the next season.
There’s a possibility he may call it a day soon and that means Real Madrid will have to look for other options, with Mourinho a consideration.

Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013 but that relationship ended on acrimonious terms, so a return would be interesting.
Zaha, meanwhile, has reportedly been keen to stay in England, but a move to the Olimpico to work under Mourinho may tempt a move away from the London club.
However, if Mourinho goes to Real Madrid, it’s unlikely Zaha will go to Roma as he wants to work under the legendary Portuguese boss.
Wilfried Zaha turns 30 today.
There’s only one video for it. Whatever happens in the summer, the love I have for this man will never die. Palace’s Greatest of All-Time as far as I’m concerned.
Happy Birthday, @wilfriedzaha. 🪄

Zaha can sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club from January onwards and he will have plenty of options as he’s been linked with several transfers.
Barcelona were reportedly one of the clubs linked with a move as they’ve been eyeing up more free transfers in the near future.
Other than them, domestic clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea are also interested in making a move and could tempt him with a deal.
