Man Utd want Tottenham star as Ronaldo replacement
Manchester United have a gap in their attack now Cristiano Ronaldo has left, and the club plan to fill it with a star player from North London…
Ronaldo left Man Utd under a cloud last week after slamming the club in an interview with Piers Morgan.
One source of his frustration was the fact that new manager Erik ten Hag had already tried to replace him this season whilst the Portuguese was still on the books.

Ronaldo, who top scored for the club last term with 18 Premier League goals and 24 in all competitions, only made four league starts, relegated mostly to featuring in the Europa League instead.
Marcus Rashford has led the line more often than not - and made a good fist of it, scoring eight times and playing his way into Gareth Southgate's England squad for the World Cup - but he would rather line up on the left and United still need a No.9.

Step forward Harry Kane. The Tottenham Hotspur superstar has hit the ground running this season with 12 goals from just 15 league games, but silverware continues to elude him at White Hart Lane and United are ready to pounce.

Kane a target
"Kane is lined up as a potential target," write the Manchester Evening News "At 29, and with just 18 months left on his current deal, Tottenham Hotspur would need to sell now to optimise his potential transfer fee.
"Manchester City failed in an attempt to lure Kane to Eastlands last year, with Daniel Levy’s valuation a reported stumbling block. It is unclear whether those demands have changed as the clock ticks on the Spurs asset's contract."
Kane was on the cusp of joining Man City in the summer of 2021 before the club spent £100 million (€118m) on Aston Villa's Jack Grealish instead.
