Revealed: The clause in Man Utd target Kim Min-jae's contract
Manchester United are interested in the signing of Kim Min-jae and will have a window where they can get him in for a cut-price deal next year.
Min-jae has been one of the most consistent defenders in Europe over the course of the season and has spurred Napoli on to the top of Serie A this season.
They are making a strong title push and Min-jae is at the heart of their team, attracting interest from others across Europe so far this campaign.

Now, there is a window where clubs can land the South Korean defender on the cheap and Manchester United are one of the sides interested.
Napoli signed Min-jae from Fenerbache in the summer transfer window for a €18 million fee and his value has grown significantly since at the start of this season.
He has a deal until 2025 and for two weeks in July, he will have a release clause worth about €45 million, so clubs will have to move quickly if they want to bring him over to their sides.

Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli confirmed the clause: “It is only valid for foreign clubs and it’s accessible in a window in July, for just 15 days,” he said, which has alerted many clubs across Europe.
He was then asked about the price of the clause: “It’s variable, it depends on the revenues of the potential buyer. It’s all theoretical given that we are already thinking about changing these terms.”
Other than Manchester United, clubs like Tottenham and Arsenal have been monitoring his situation with a view to making a move in the future for the South Korean.
He is currently away at the World Cup and will be hoping to go far with his side as they face Portugal next, before returning to Italy in December in the hope of maintaining Napoli’s title push.
