Mohammed Kudus shows he is perfect for Liverpool
Mohammed Kudus has been a star for Ghana at this World Cup, adding to his impressive CV at a young age and his status is only set to be boosted in the coming months.
Kudus has scored two goals and provided one assist in his two World Cup matches so far, netting a brace in their win over South Korea on Monday afternoon.
That has put Ghana in a strong position to progress from their tough group and has done plenty to enhance Kudus’ reputation, as he was named Man of the Match immediately after.

Soon after the final whistle went, reports emerged from De Telegraaf that Liverpool were seriously interested in the player and that they were ready to make a move for the Ghanaian.
Kudus would fit well at Liverpool
Liverpool got a first-hand view of how good Kudus can be – he scored against them in the Champions League game at Anfield earlier in the season.
Kudus has set two major records at the World Cup this year, becoming the first Ghanaian to net a brace at the World Cup and the second-youngest African to net twice in a World Cup match, after Nigeria’s Ahmed Musa in 2014.

And goalscoring is just one part of his game: he’s a great dribbler, able to break lines and drive through defences, which is an admired aspect of his game, and he can play higher up the pitch.
For that, he’d be a great fit at Liverpool and factoring his energy and pressing qualities, then he would make a very welcome addition to Jurgen Klopp’s side.
In the summer, Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals Everton were keen to sign Kudus, but Ajax refused the move; however, after his World Cup displays, there will certainly be more interest in him and Ajax can demand a big fee.
What a game! 🤩

Kudus is also one of Ajax’s most flamboyant players: his ability to pull off cheeky pieces of skill on occasion wows many and his versatility would be welcome at Liverpool.
Liverpool have lacked numbers in midfield that season and one way of helping that issue is the signing of Kudus: there will be lots of competition for him, but it’s a transfer that would improve them significantly.
