Chelsea offered Joao Felix and Cunha by Atletico Madrid
Chelsea need attacking reinforcements this winter and Atletico Madrid would gladly provide them with some in Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha.
No Chelsea player has scored more than three Premier League goals this season. Kai Havertz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have four from 18 games between them, and youthful alternative Armando Borja is now out for the season with a knee injury.
With no early recall option on Romelo Lukaku's loan deal with Inter Milan, Chelsea can't even draft a potential solution who is already on their books, and they'll need to go shopping in the January sales.

This is where Atletico pair Felix and Cunha could come in.
"Chelsea were offered the chance to sign Felix for £86m [€98.4m] before they lost Broja to injury," reports the Evening Standard's Nizaar Kinsella.

"Any temporary deal for Felix would require a significant loan fee and an option to buy him next summer. Wolves and Leeds are concerned Chelsea could hijack their approach for Atletico forward Cunha, who is stalling on their interest after being told he can move in January.
"Felix is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who is close to new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and has also negotiated with Manchester United in the past."

Ideal solutions?
Felix and Cunha have become fringe players at Atletico Madrid, who permanently re-signed Antoine Griezmann from Barcelona for €20m in July, and los Colchoneros also need to cash in having run into financial difficulty.
Whether Chelsea go for the pair on offer remains to be seen. They have already agreed to deal to sign Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig next year, but they need a bona fide No.9, which neither Felix nor Cunha are.
The Atletico player who might help Chelsea most from a positional point of view is a certain Alvaro Morata, though. Remember him, Blues fans?
