Dusan Vlahovic: The truth behind Juventus star’s transfer rumours
Dusan Vlahovic is being linked with a transfer away from Juventus to any number of Premier League clubs.
Football transfer expert Ben Jacobs has spoken exclusively to FootballTransfers and has warned that the January window is not the likeliest time for a deal to be done for the Serbia international.
The 22-year-old has been linked to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United lately, but there is interest from elsewhere, too.

“The Premier League is one possibility, but PSG could still be look at Vlahovic, even if they sign Joao Felix,” Jacobs said.
“Chelsea are also exploring him along with a variety of other striker names. We know they need to add goals.
“Arsenal may be in the conversation. They’ve kept in touch with Vlahovic’s people. But Mikel Arteta feels like he snubbed Arsenal a year ago and doesn’t necessarily want to revisit that.

“There’s no indication that Arsenal are advancing anything at this point but of course they’re one to watch because he’s been on their list of targets before.
“There’s a real opportunity for someone to come in for Vlahovic for sure.”
Injury concerns
Meanwhile, it is expected that the groin problem that Vlahovic is nursing after the World Cup count against him ahead of the January transfer window.
“He’s been injury prone, so that will be a factor that puts off one or two suitor,” Jacobs said. “He’s come back from the World Cup with a groin injury, which has been a persistent injury for him. Clubs are going to have to understand very quickly what that injury situation is if they are to move in January.
“He’s at the right age, with the right talent and the right potential, but a lot of things are going to have to come together in January for a move to materialise.”
FootballTransfers values Vlahovic at €65m, though Juventus are likely to see the €82m they spent last January as a starting price for transfer negotiations.
