What is Man Utd and Arsenal-target Dusan Vlahovic’s asking price?

Manchester United and Arsenal are targeting Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window.

Vlahovic is not for sale, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, but the two Premier League clubs are pushing hard to sign him.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 22-year-old striker.

Juventus only signed Vlahovic last winter, in a £65 million deal from Fiorentina.

And it is believed they are looking to make a small profit should they decide to sell.

The Old Lady would strongly consider an offer in the region of £70m, especially given the financial predicament they find themselves in.

Vlahovic vs Mitrovic

While Vlahovic is an interesting option for the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal, one of his Serbian teammates could be a better one.

At 28, Fulham star Alexsandar Mitrovic remains in his prime, and has somewhat of a proven track record in the Premier League.

Mitrovic has struggled in previous seasons in the English top flight, but his nine goals in 12 games have helped Fulham to a strong start.

The striker is in the form of life, so it came as no surprise that he started ahead of Vlahovic at the recent World Cup.

And not only that, he impressed in Qatar, scoring twice in three group stage matches.

None of the above makes Vlahovic a bad player, but he could prove a poor investment for Man Utd or Arsenal given how Premier League-ready Mitrovic is.
