How Man Utd flop Amad Diallo has been REBORN at Sunderland
Sunderland winger Amad Diallo, on loan from Manchester United, has had a stellar run of form for the Black Cats and showing his true talents in the Championship.
Diallo moved to Manchester United in 2020 from Atalanta but hasn’t made a mark on the first-team, only making a few appearances for them before being sent out on loan.
He was sent to Rangers last season but didn’t make much of an impact and there were doubts over whether he could achieve his potential for them in Glasgow.

However, things have been different for him at Sunderland this season and his impressive performances could spell a bright future for him at Manchester United.
Diallo impressing at Sunderland
Diallo had a slow start to life at Sunderland but things have since picked up for him and he’s now netted five goals in seven matches across both sides of the World Cup break.
In that goal record, he’s also scored thrice in the last three games, and his form will be crucial as Sunderland look to push up the Championship table.

Sunderland boss Tony Mowbray spoke about Diallo’s form: "He's only playing on a regular basis because of his talent. I have to sit Patrick Roberts down in my office, who, in my opinion, is probably the most talented footballer in this league, yet he's not playing.
"'Why am I not playing if you think I'm that talented?' 'Well, because this kid assists and scores goals Pat, and with total respect, you scored two amazing goals away at Reading this season and you've had some assists, but Amad's on fire at the moment and he plays in the same position as you.

"My job is to try to find a way of putting them both in the team, yet you have to pick and choose the games where you feel you can be dominant with the ball and put them both in the team at the same time."
The way Diallo is playing, he could force his way into Erik ten Hag’s plans at Manchester United upon his return to the club next summer.
