The Red Devils are thin in attacking areas and need players to improve, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial being their only senior striker options.

Cristiano Ronaldo left the club two weeks ago after his unsanctioned interview with Piers Morgan, where he criticized the club severely, put him in hot water and his contract was terminated.

Now, Manchester United have identified three options for the position and they are forwards from three different clubs and varying price ranges.

Man Utd interested in three players

Manchester United’s primary attacking target is PSV’s Cody Gakpo, who’s impressive World Cup displays are attracting more interest from clubs around Europe.

He has scored one goal in each of Netherlands’ three group games and coming in on the back of an impressive start to the season with PSV, his stock is only increasing.

He was targeted by Manchester United in the summer but they chose to move for Antony instead, but Erik ten Hag is still an admirer and may have to fork out about €75 million for him.

Another forward they are targeting is Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix, with the player keen to leave his current club due to a poor relationship with manager Diego Simeone.

Felix has seen game time limited and may look for a move away as he hopes to reignite his career following a series of fine displays at the World Cup.

He won’t come in cheap though as Atletico Madrid will look to recuperate a big fee for him, and are reportedly looking to get between €130-€140 million for the forward, according to Relevo.

Finally, it’s reported by AS that Manchester United are the club best placed to sign Barcelona’s Memphis Depay, who is also eager to leave Barcelona.

Due to the competition in the side and his own injury troubles, Depay has been unable to make his way in the first team and is looking away for opportunities.
