Arsenal target Mudryk wanted by multiple Premier League clubs

Shakhtar Donetsk CEO Sergei Palkin has held talks with a number of Premier League clubs over the sale of star player Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Mudryk had been linked with Brentford and Everton in the summer transfer window, but he is now linked with some of the league's top clubs.
Manchester City, Arsenal and Newcastle are reportedly interested in the player valued at €100 million (£86m).

The 21-year-old has registered 10 goals and eight assists in 17 starts for Shakhtar Donetsk, so it is no wonder that he is attracting interest.
Asked by The Athletic if Mudryk will be sold in January, Palkin said: “To be honest, I do not know. At the moment, we are quite far from what we want and what clubs propose. It’s not so far but it is not what we need. We have discussions. One club, another club, they negotiate. We are in the process. Will it close this month? I don’t know.
“It is maybe 50-50 with regards to the winter transfer window. I don’t want to talk about figures now. We are in discussions. We have interest from some English clubs and we are in the process.”

When asked if Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle are interested, Palkin replied: “Every day, I read about another English club. If you believe the newspapers, it is all of (the English clubs). But to be honest, it is true as I have had contact from many clubs. A lot of them are involved in this process.”
Mudryk to Arsenal?
Although Mudryk is under contract until 31 December 2026, giving Shakhtar some strong cards to hold in negotiations, he has indicated that he wants to leave the club and complete a “dream” move to Arsenal.
Speaking to CBS, he explained: “I think every guy dreams about the Premier League. It's hard to say my preferred move but Arsenal is a very good team, with a very good coach, I like the way they play.
“From my side, I can't say no [to Arsenal]. But the transfer is not only my decision.”
