Bellingham has put in a few starring performances for England at the World Cup and has only raised the value that he will go for when the time for his transfer does come.

His display in England’s last 16 win over Senegal impressed many and clubs have made further moves in the hope of bringing Bellingham over to their clubs.

Now, PSG’s President has heaped further praise on him, perhaps indicating a move for him in the future and giving Liverpool a problem in his chase.

Al-Khelaifi said: "What a player! Honestly, England are lucky to have him... and he is one of the best players in the tournament. Unbelievable and you see that this is his first World Cup. He is calm, relaxed and confident"

He then spoke about the interest in him: "Everyone wants him. I'm not going to hide it. But I respect his club and out of respect if we want to talk to him, we'll talk to the club first."

Several clubs have been interested in Bellingham, including the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid, but Liverpool seem best placed to sign him.

Discussions about Ronaldo transfer

He also later spoke about links to a move for Cristiano Ronaldo, to which he said: "The three players that we have [Lionel] Messi, Neymar and [Kylian] Mbappe, it's very difficult, but I wish him all the best. He's fantastic and he's still an amazing player."

Ronaldo has been without a club since his contract with Manchester United was terminated and he has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr.

However, such reports have been denied and the Portuguese star can only switch clubs on January 1, once the transfer window opens.
