The forgotten Chelsea star who could fall victim to Mudryk
Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk, taking him from under the noses of London rivals Arsenal.
The Blues spent big to get the Ukrainian over to Stamford Bridge and confirmed the completion of the deal on Sunday ahead of their match against Crystal Palace.
It has taken the club’s spending under Todd Boehly to over £400 million having spent big on players such as Wesley Fofana and Marc Cucurella.

Now, his signings could be a problem for some of their other players, including Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is away on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
Hudson-Odoi's Chelsea future in doubt
According to reports, Hudson-Odoi will make a decision on his Chelsea future in the summer as he considers whether to stay or leave Stamford Bridge.
Hudon-Odoi moved to Bayer Leverkusen on loan in the summer after game time at Stamford Bridge was limited under former manager Thomas Tuchel, who often used him as a wing-back in his time at the club.

He was tipped for a bright future in the game a few years ago but a combination of injury and staying out of the first team picture has troubled his chances, forcing him to look elsewhere for game time.
New manager Graham Potter is believed to be a fan of the player but given the added competition in the side following the signing of Mudryk, Hudson-Odoi’s chances could be even more limited.

Signing Hudson-Odoi could be an option for several clubs in the summer and he could come in cheap given the fact that he will be entering the final year of his contract when he returns from Germany.
He agreed a five-year deal in 2019 and is yet to open talks over a new extension, putting his Chelsea future in doubt and giving other clubs the opportunity to make a move for him in the near future.
