Arsenal interested in loan move for Real Madrid star
Arsenal are interested in a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, according to reports.
The Gunners have already signed Brighton winger Leandro Trossard with the announcement coming today via their official channel, while they are close to bringing in centre-back Jakub Kiwior from Spezia this January window.
The Standard report that the club’s owners are ready to back manager Mikel Arteta, who has led the club to the top of the Premier League table.

The report continues that there is no suggestion yet that Real Madrid would sanction a loan move for the 20-year-old, who has lacked game-time this season.
It comes after news filtered through that Arsenal see West Ham captain Declan Rice as their number-one target for the summer.
The Hammers will not allow Rice to leave this window and have put a €120million price tag for him at the end of the season.
It is thought, too, that Arsenal have an interest in Leicester’s Youri Tielemans - with the Belgian out of contract with the Foxes in the summer.
Camvinga out of favour
Camavinga joined Real Madrid from Rennes in Ligue 1 in the same summer that Arsenal star Martin Odegaard departed left Los Blancos.
Carlo Ancelotti has recently been taking Camavinga off at halftime and seems out of sorts.
The young French midfielder was subbed at halftime for the second game in a row. The Italian said of the decision to bring the 20-year-old off.
“The substitution against Valencia was a technical one. He played well, but I changed him so as not to risk playing with 10 players. He played well against Barcelona, but I switched him because I wanted to bring more players on upfront.
“I really believe in him. Admittedly, I’ve taken him off a number of times at the end of the first half and I haven’t always been fair to him in this respect, but I have complete confidence in him and he’ll contribute to the team tomorrow just as he always does.”
