Fabrizio Romano attacked by Arsenal fans after Mudryk transfer
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has found himself under social media attack from Arsenal fans.
Romano, who has built a following of 13.5 million users thanks to his sharp transfer news, friendly manner and trademark ‘Here we go!’ catchphrase, has found his mentions dominated by Gunners supporters.
Arsenal fans have been targeting the Italian with comments such as “stop mentioning our club” and “keep Arsenal out of your tweets”.

Why are Arsenal fans attacking Fabrizio Romano?
Arsenal fans are apparently unhappy with the manner in which Romano has reported the Mykhailo Mudryk saga.
The 22-year-old attacker had been widely expected to move from Shakhtar Donetsk to Arsenal but instead made a last-minute switch to Chelsea when it became apparent that the Gunners would not match the €100 million being asked for by the Ukrainian club.

There is a sense that he fuelled the expectation that Mudryk would move to Arsenal and has been mocking Arsenal fans over the manner in which the deal played out.
Some supporters have accused Romano of “milking” the way the deal played out.

Romano even responded to the “hate” on Tuesday following a tweet from Arsenal influencer @WelBeast, who reported: “Arsenal fans have turned on Fabrizio Romano "stop mentioning our club" and "keep Arsenal out of your tweets" all over his replies.”
Romano responded: “…I appreciate your way to share hate on me. Big account, no name, no face. Attack Fabrizio and then go. Just because I shared my news, and wow, it was correct. Thanks, because this tweet describes this toxic platform in the best way.”
