Man Utd sources say they are comfortable with where things are at in negotiations with Garancho, having put an offer on the table reflective of his recent performance level and potential.
Undoubtedly many big clubs are keen on the Argentine but the Premier League giants are adamant that no sale will be made on one of their brightest talents.
Garnacho, who is enjoying a breakout season, has played 15 games across all competitions this season, scoring two goals.
Garnacho’s game-winning display
Garnacho proved vital on Saturday with a vital contribution in his side’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City on derby day. Erik ten Hag brought him on as a substitute when they were 1-0 down with 18 minutes of normal time remaining and he helped them to three points with an assist for Marcus Rashford.
Rio Ferdinand spoke of his admiration for his performance on the day. He told the Vibe with Five channel: "I looked at the bench and saw three centre-halves and I was thinking, 'Wow, the depth isn't really there’
"But Garnacho comes on and changes the game. He is saying to the manager, 'Get me on that pitch ASAP because I'm producing moments every time I go on. How can you make me sub?'. That's what his performances are saying and I love it. The manager is using him perfectly well at the minute because he is impacting games."
