Who could Man Utd sign to replace injured Eriksen?
Manchester United may be in a pickle with their midfield options as Christian Eriksen picked up an injury in their FA Cup clash against Reading.
The midfielder came off after he was harshly tackled by former Liverpool forward Andy Carroll and he looked to be in some discomfort.
After the match, he was pictured leaving Old Trafford in crutches and Erik ten Hag was unable to provide an update on how long he would be out for.

With that and with just a few days remaining in the transfer window, Manchester United may have to move quick if they want to sign a replacement – but who could they get?
Man Utd may need to move quick
Manchester United likely won’t spend big – or spend at all – if they are to get in a new midfielder and might even look to complete a loan deal.
With Donny van de Beek set to miss the rest of the season as well, Manchester United currently only have four fit senior midfielders in Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Fred and Scott McTominay.

The simpler option would be Leicester City’s Youri Tielemans, who is in the final months of his contract at Leicester City and is likely to leave the club in the summer anyways.
He’s been linked with a move away from Leicester for a while and with the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona waiting to get him on a free,
Manchester United could get ahead of them and get him now.
Another option would be Ryan Gravenberch, although this would be slightly difficult given Bayern Munich have made it clear they want to keep him.
However, Manchester United could structure a deal that sees them get him permanently later on after an initial loan spell and given Ten Hag’s history with him, it’s something that could be useful.

A riskier option would be the recall of Hannibal Mejbri, the youngster on loan at Birmingham City, although it’s unclear how effective he would be given his lack of senior Premier League experience.
It’s hard to get in a replacement with just two days left in the window and the extent of Eriksen’s injury unclear, but given the thin numbers in their squad, Manchester United may just have to move very quickly.
