EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal have club-record bid for Moises Caicedo accepted
Arsenal have made a club-record bid for Moises Caicedo of Brighton, FootballTransfers understands.
Caicedo, who was a top target for the Gunners heading into the final hours of the January transfer window, is set to head to the north London side following the offer, with the Seagulls greenlighting the move.
Brighton had dug their heels in and suggested that the 21-year-old is not going anywhere - however, it seems that the deadlock has now been broken.

We are told that though Brighton are briefing that the deal is not there yet, things are in motion and the midfielder is set to become a Gunners player.
We have learned Arsenal are paying £45m in one lump sum and the rest over the length of his contract.
The side had two bids knocked back earlier this window and have also been linked to Jorginho, whose contract is up with the Blues at the end of the season.
Marquinhos departs
It comes after transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced that Arsenal had confirmed the departure of Marquinhos to Norwich.
The Gunners, who are the Premier League leaders, have been active throughout the January market to add to their attacking ranks in the form of Leandro Trossard and their defence in the form of Jakub Kiwior.
But rather than a signing, it is an outgoing player that is the first significant movement with the Brazilian winger's move to the East Anglia side being confirmed by the Italian transfer specialist.
With Trossard’s arrival and the impending return to fitness of Gabriel Jesus and Emile Smith-Rowe, Arsenal have sanctioned the departure of the forward who joined last summer. The player is now set to join the Championship side until the end of the season via a straight-up loan deal.
The 19-year-old was a £3 million signing from Sao Paulo in June but, despite being earmarked as a potential first-team regular this season, he has played just one minute of Premier League football so far for the Gunners.
Marquinhos has featured five times in cup competitions for Arteta’s side and scored on his debut for the club in the Europa League against FC Zurich but will instead turn out in English football's second tier after completing a medical with the Carrow Road side.
