Moukoko's Dortmund future 'more uncertain than ever' as Premier League giants circle
A string of leading Premier League clubs will have taken note that Youssoufa Moukoko’s Borussia Dortmund future is “more uncertain than ever”.
The 18-year-old striker is considered to be one of the hottest talents in world football, having scored six goals and created six more for BVB in 22 appearances this season, while he also became Germany’s youngest player to feature at a World Cup finals tournament at Qatar 2022.
MORE: What Chelsea and Man Utd must promise Moukoko before transfer
Premier League sides Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been associated with a transfer for the prodigious teenager, and their interest will have been piqued by the news that Moukoko has so far failed to agree a new contract.
Barcelona will also have taken note of this situation, having been linked with the forward. The Catalans’ difficult financial position, though, means that they are unlikely to be able to compete with the Premier League teams in terms of wages.

Moukoko contract impasse with Dortmund
The information from Sky Deutschland is encouraging for this pack of clubs seeking to sign Moukoko.
According to its report Dortmund and Moukoko are “further apart” than ever in terms of their contract talks, with both salary and signing on fee disputed.
The player is said to want a signing bonus of more than €10 million to stay at Dortmund, with the Bundesliga side backed into a corner with less than six months before the player can depart for nothing.
Although a further meeting between the player and the club is scheduled, it is said that it is “unlikely” that a deal will be reached.
Dortmund are seeking a performance-based contract with a basic salary of around €3 million-per-year plus significant incentives. Moukoko, on the other hand, wants a deal worth more than €5m annually.
Sporting director Sebastian Kehl is pushing for the situation to be resolved as rapidly as possible.
Nevertheless, it is clear that Moukoko could potentially be available during the January transfer window, with Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Barcelona all following the situation closely.
