Newcastle to sell Ryan Fraser this month
Newcastle United and Ryan Fraser have come to a mutual agreement that he will be sold this window - and the Scottish winger is actively looking for clubs via his agent, FootballTransfers is told.
The 28-year-old attacker has been keen for more game-time and has asked Newcastle if he can leave - to which the club have agreed.
Aberdeen-born Fraser has only made eight appearances for the Magpies this season and now it appears that he will be ending for an exit during the January transfer window.

The winger is contracted until 2025 and a fee of around €8million could be enough to convince Newcastle to sell.
The Scotland international arrived for free in 2020 but his and the club's position is that it is now time to part ways.
A loan move is also not off the table but the mood is that the time has come for a more permanent separation. Suitors will come for Fraser as he is hitting his peak years and given his vast experience at international level and in the Premier League.
It is thought that if Newcastle are able to sell Fraser it will give them more room to bring in another player in the transfer window - but they will not be splashing the vast sums in January that they did over the summer.
Magpies’ January window
Eddie Howe is looking to bring in youthful players to grow alongside the side and develop this winter window.
The side finished the year in fourth spot in the table - meaning that the target for the campaign will surely be now a Champions League place.
It would mark the side’s first return to the competition for the first time since the Sir Bobby Robson era.
Newcastle drew 0-0 with Leeds at St James’ Park on New Year's Eve - but despite the disappointing result, it does mean they have still only lost once this season.
