Chelsea next manager odds: Jose Mourinho second favourite
Michel Sanchez is the favourite with the bookmakers to replace under-fire Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino is under severe pressure as Blues boss after yet another dismal season. Despite Todd Boehly spending over €1 billion on transfers in the last 18 months, Chelsea continue to struggle in mid table.
The Argentine was appointed in the summer of 2023 but his days may already be numbered.
Odds and favourite to be next Chelsea manager
Michel Sanchez is favourite to be appointed if Pochettino is sacked in the coming weeks. He is at odds of 6/1 with Sky Bet.
The Spaniard is overseeing a brilliant job at Girona, as the tiny side challenge Real Madrid for the La Liga title this season.
The second favourite for the Chelsea job is an old hero in Jose Mourinho.
The Special One was sacked by Roma in January 2024 and could be in line for a third spell as manager at the club.
Roberto De Zerbi is third favourite to succeed Pochettino. De Zerbi is arguably the most in-demand coach in world football after performing heroics with Brighton and taking them into Europe for the first time in their history.
Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim is fourth favourite for the job having earned credit by winning the league and cup double in Portugal in 2021.
Zinedine Zidane is fifth favourite to be Chelsea manager at odds of 7/1. The France legend has been without a job since leaving Real Madrid in 2021.
He had been expected to succeed Didier Deschamps as France manager after the 2022 World Cup, but Zidane’s former midfield teammate opted to stay for Euro 2024.
