Liverpool legend reveals trio that are being ‘bullied’
Liverpool legend Graeme Souness says that Jurgen Klopp’s side are being “bullied” on a regular basis in a swipe at their recent transfer policy.
The Reds suffered an embarrassing 3-0 loss against Wolves on Saturday, outplayed by a side that has struggled to find its best form this season.
But that was far from a one off for the Anfield club. Klopp’s side presently find themselves 10th in the standings, with seven defeats in 20 games, and on a four-game winless run.

Indeed, Liverpool have been so bad lately that even the previously untouchable Klopp has found his job apparently under threat.
According to Souness, the problems begin in a midfield that is not tough enough.
“A year ago they should have been looking at midfield players to buy last summer," he told Sky Sports. "A year ago, this was starting to show itself, the midfield. The best midfield they had was Gini Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson and James Milner - high energy, not technically brilliant, but just high energy and they bullied players.

"They won it high up and they’d give it to the lads, the front three, and they’d go from there. Theirs’ is not a problem that is easily solved right now because you’re looking at the midfield of Naby Keita, the young Spanish boy and Thiago, and they’re getting bullied, and if you’re getting bullied in there you’re on the back foot most of the time."
This is a familiar argument made by Liverpool fans, who are holding out the Jude Bellingham might arrive next summer from Borussia Dortmund.
Champions League football, though, may well be a requirement for Bellingham to join any club, and with Liverpool 11 points off the pace, there is no guarantee that Klopp’s men will achieve that.
Next up for the Reds is a derby clash against Everton next Monday before a testing Premier League trip to Newcastle and then a Champions League last-16 fixture against Real Madrid.
