After years competing with Manchester City for the Premier League title, Liverpool have taken a major step backwards this season and are struggling under Jurgen Klopp.

Despite the faltering form of others around them, Liverpool are currently in a mid-table fight with fellow giants Chelsea and appear unable to find the right formula for results.

Klopp has been heavily criticised for his role in their downwards trend, but has revealed he will not walk away from the job, amidst rumours of a move to Real Madrid.

Even with their disappointing form in the English top flight, several players in the Liverpool squad have experienced promising campaigns which has seen their Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) rise. For the most part, however, there has been a drop-off in valuation for much of Liverpool's squad.

Which Liverpool players have seen their value increase?

Harvey Elliott is the biggest exception to Liverpool's drop-off, with the young Englishman seeing his ETV rising by €22.3 million since July 2022. He was valued at €10m, but after enjoying a long run in the starting XI he now has an ETV of €32.3m.

Summer signing Darwin Nunez has seen the second-highest valuation jump of the Liverpool squad thanks to his transfer from Benfica. Despite some major missed chances, Nunez has joined a bigger club and is on a long contract, which has led to an €18.7m ETV increase.

Thanks in part to injuries around him, Joe Gomez has become a key player under Klopp this season and has been rewarded with a €13.6m ETV climb since July 2022. That is the third-highest increase at Liverpool.

Fabio Carvalho and Cody Gakpo round off the top five Liverpool transfer value increases since July 2022. Carvalho has jumped from an ETV of €9.2m to €20.4m, while Gakpo has gone from €28.7m to €38.5m.
