Man Utd face Frimpong competition - Fabrizio Romano
Manchester United target Jeremie Frimpong is now admired by several other clubs.
The Premier League side had looked at the Bayer Leverkusen right-back in January but no move materialised.
Now Fabrizio Romano has suggested that a number of other clubs have come in.
The reporter tweeted: “Jeremie Frimpong remains in the list of big clubs with chances of summer move— Bayer Leverkusen wanted to keep him in January.

“Frimpong has 7 assists and 5 goals in all competitions this season, performing at top level.”
It comes after Football Insider stated recently that Frimpong is valued by Leverkusen at between £40-50m, though it is believed a deal could be done closer to £30m
The report states that the Dutchman is happy with his current side but open to a move to the Premier League, if a side is able to offer Champions League football
Erik ten Hag wants fresh right-back

We were that Diogo Dalot is very close to a fresh deal as well - but Ten Hag wants to oversee an overhaul.
Frimpong started his career at rivals Manchester City, playing in their youth system.
This season, he has scored five goals and seven assists in 29 appearances as a regular starter.
The 22-year-old also played for Celtic – where he made 51 outings, even winning a domestic treble in the 2019-20 season.
Elsewhere, Man Utd have been linked with Celta Vigo midfielder Gabri Veiga, according to AS, after the youngster impressed with six goals from 21 league appearances.
The side are asking for around £26m, while Newcastle have also watched the La Liga player this term, sending scouts to watch him.
