Man Utd and Liverpool must pay €100m for Bundesliga striker
Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt - but both face competition from Bayern Munich.
L’Equipe report that the France international is attracting interest from the pair of Premier League giants, as well as the German champions.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a decent campaign at the World Cup 2022 as France’s replacement for Christopher Nkunku, who was forced to withdraw due to injury.

And domestically, the forward has been exceptional for Frankfurt. After joining the side on a free transfer from Nantes last summer, has scored 12 goals in all competitions, including two in the Champions League.
Liverpool might be after another striker if Roberto Firmino opts not to sign a fresh deal with the Reds. Man Utd are looking to bring in a marquee attacker into the fold in the summer - and Muani certainly fits the bill in terms of his age, goal-scoring capabilities and profile.
A pricey option
L’Equipe say, however, that Frankfurt’s asking price of €100m would prove a sticking point for both sides. Both clubs are also keen on bringing in two central midfielders into the first-team line-up and this would take a huge chunk out of their budget for the summer window.
That said, it is believed Frankfurt’s hand may be forced if they fail to obtain a Champions League spot this season.
Die Adler are currently in fifth spot in the league table, one point behind RB Leipzig, who are in fourth.
Muani - who is valued by FootballTransfers at €59.8m- has four years of his contract to go at Deutsche Bank Park. When he joined the Ligue 1 outfit in the summer, he was valued at €15m, but his rise in the Bundesliga and at the World Cup has seen that grow exceptionally.
