Man Utd plotting move for Salzburg wonderkid
Manchester United are keeping tabs on Red Bull Salzburg forward Benjamin Sesko as their hunt for a number nine is set to continue.
The Red Devils are looking to strengthen in attack in the summer transfer window and look for a long-term solution to their issues in that position.
They currently have Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst to feature in that position, but the future of the latter two is unclear.

Sesko is one of the targets for the club and they had been tracking the Slovenian’s progress since last year.
Man Utd eyeing Sesko
Manchester United and Chelsea were amongst the club’s keen to make a move for Sesko last year but he agreed a deal to join Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig, before spending this season on loan with Salzburg.
Despite the agreement with Leipzig, clubs are still keen to sign Sesko, even if it is for an inflated fee as they back him to have a huge future in the game.

According to Football Insider, Manchester United are willing to make a move and Old Trafford is seen as the ideal destination for the player.
The fact that he will be working under Erik ten Hag is an encouraging factor for Sesko given his record of nurturing talent and significantly improving players at both Manchester United and Ajax.
Additionally, the success he has enjoyed at Old Trafford so far paints a picture for a bright future and players could well be more enticed to join them now than they were before.
Other than Sesko, Manchester United are also keeping tabs on players like Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, who are more established in wider European football.
It’s unclear just how much the club will be able to spend on a new forward in the summer and fees for Kane or Osimhen will be immense, so having Sesko as an option is a sensible call, and perhaps the youngster is a more achievable option.
