Sabitzer's agent speaks out on Man Utd transfer plans
Marcel Sabitzer has hit the ground running at Manchester United after joining on loan from Bayern Munich in January.
Sabitzer was drifting at Bayern, stuck behind Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in the midfield pecking order after completing his €15 million transfer from RB Leipzig in August 2021.
Reunited with his former Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann, it was somewhat surprising that he only managed 15 Bundesliga starts across two seasons - even if he had a pair of Germany internationals in his way.

United sensed an opportunity in January, and acquired the Austria midfielder on loan until the end of the season. Three wins in four Premier League games later and they reportedly want to make his move permanent.
And now his agent Roger Wittman has revealed that the feeling is mutual.

"At Manchester United we see Marcel from Leipzig again," he told German TV channel Sport1. "I'm very happy for him. We'll see when the time comes, but Marcel's a top player. It doesn't surprise me at all that he's performing so well so quickly.
"If you have as much experience as Marcel, whether in the Champions League or with his more than 60 international matches, it doesn't take long to find your way around a club and a league like this.

Wittman: Sabi loves England
"He loves this English hardness! It was clear from the start that the Premier League was a great fit for him. He's an aggressive player. He does exactly what he can there. And that's what's needed there."
Sabitzer has already made 27 recoveries from his four Premier League outings, also winning 14 duels across his 260 minutes in the English top-flight - not bad for a player trained as an attacking midfielder.
Sabitzer's Bayern contract expires in June 2023. He is currently valued at €24.7 million by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm and United will hope they don't have to pay too much more than that to make his deal permanent.
