Roberto Firmino targeted by THREE MLS sides
Could the future of Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino lie in the USA? At least three MLS clubs certainly hope so as they harbour aspirations of signing the Brazil international forward.
It is understood that Firmino is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season, with a myriad of possibilities having opened up for the former Hoffenheim hitman.

A move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia to join Cristiano Ronaldo has been touted as one possibility, while there have been some claims that the player has offered himself to Barcelona.
While links to Camp Nou appear flimsy for the moment, the possibility of Firmino heading to MLS appears to be greater, with three clubs fighting to sign a player who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €28.2 million.

MLS trio eye Firmino
MLS insider Tom Bogert has reported that St Louis SC have emerged as a possible destination for the 31-year-old. Indeed, St Louis’ sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel was at Hoffenheim at the same time as Firmino, and though he typically prefers younger players, this experience together could weigh in the striker’s favour.
Additionally, LAFC are said to hold an interest in the player. They saw a January transfer move for Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang breakdown, but it is believed that the Gabon international was close to a deal. Firmino could offer similar experience to the former Arsenal and Barcelona star and of course occupies the same centre-forward role.
Of St Louis’ interest, Bogert notes: “Still very early in the process for Roberto Firmino, who only recently decided he would leave Liverpool this summer when his contract expires.”
Meanwhile, Manuel Veth of Transfermarkt has added that Inter Miami are “very interested” in the Liverpool man.
With more than two months to run in the Premier League season, Firmino has a wide variety of options to consider before a summer transfer, but MLS will be prominent among these.
